The Death of Rosanna Breuninger

Some days are harder than others. On a few, only a few if you’re lucky, days it’s just really damn hard to even bother. Fucking humans.

So Rosanna “Zan” Breuninger was killed last Friday night going into Saturday morning by, as best we can tell presently, a driver who hit Breuninger as they cycled at/near 12th NW and Los Arboles. This driver, this fucking human, then apparently picked up the mortally injured Rosanna, put them in the car and drove them not to a hospital, but to Rosanna’s apartment.

They left Rosanna in the apartment and Rosanna died. It’s possible Rosanna was already dead by the time the driver closed the apartment door. We don’t know. We also don’t know where Rosanna’s cellphone and other personal possessions are. One would guess they are with the fucking human who killed them. I very much hope the driver had some time to think as they cleaned the blood and such from their sedan’s interior after safely, comfortably driving back to wherever fucking humans like them live.

I know lives for many are extremely troubled. I know many are fucked up to the point where they do stupid, and sometimes cruel things. But when you’ve reached the level of fucked up where you decide to drive a fellow human you’ve injured/killed somewhere they will not receive medical attention, not to mention other related fucked up decisions unclear or unknown at this time, I’m….I’m just gonna post the Crime Stoppers poster.

I can’t even.

  1. I’ve already posted this on social, but I’ll put it here too because it’s important: I learned the hard way how crucial it is to have the bike back if there is ever to be any kind of legal “justice” won for the family of the victim. When my husband was killed the CA state police tried to throw away his crumpled bicycle. Luckily, our lawyer intervened. The broken, mangled bicycle was used to prove the speed and direction from which the killer driver came at Bill.
