Today’s Ride 6.10.25: Judy Chicago St. (MdS)

Checked out the new streets accompanying new construction out at Mesa del Sol today. Judy Chicago St. is 100% paved and just about 0% houses this week, but that house percentage looks to be changing, fast.

The recent rain has opened up vast expanses of what’s south between MdS and the Isleta Pueblo boundary to us cyclists. Even on the acoustic with just 1.5″ tires, the riding was easy.

Look how relatively green it is out there right now!

Wandering about, there was a fenceline or two, but there were already “holes” everywhere I decided, haphazardly, to go.

And views were great throughout. It wasn’t even hot, at least for June.

Here’s my route. The wander involved some walking the bike, but only about 200 yards worth, as even bush, or let’s call it sandwhacking was ridable. A very cheery day made even more so by the chance to ride Judy Chicago Street. Give it a shot, if you’ve a mind to.
