Every time I visit a city, I take a picture like this one and wonder, again, for the umpteenth time “Why doesn’t Albuquerque have signs like this?”

It really isn’t that hard or expensive, folks. We can do this. And yes, if you squint you can see that the “Murchinson Drive Bikeway” doesn’t really have the greatest bike lane and I experienced some of the same infrastructural shortcomings this weekend in El Paso that we have in Burque. But El Paso has these signs and we don’t.
