Looking forward to this Sunday’s CiQlovia in its International District location. The downtown iterations have been fun, but stretching out to other parts of town, particularly this section of Southern, a street fondly thought of by many, many area cyclists, is both a good idea and a bit of a marketing challenge.

In fact, the challenge is a big reason why it’s a good idea. How do we get plenty of folks to come to this area, and then how great will it be to have folks see and experience a non-downtown, residential street transformed into a pedestrian mall?

The experiment should be fascinating. Hope to see you there pleasantly milling about on Sunday.
