At one point, a time not even that many years ago, this “bike lane” at Comanche/Griegos and I-25 wasn’t seen as so scandalous and embarrassing that it was immediately restriped.

Then a few years went by…

Working with the “polycentric governance” of City and State involved, as outlined in John’s post here yesterday, it’s gonna take some time. Still, we (you, me, “them”) are going to fix this present-day embarrassment, and bring Comanche/Griegos/I-25 into the 21st Century of bike lanes. The 2030 of bike lanes, even.

It’s just gonna take some time.
