Might our long municipal transportation nightmare, a.k.a. the horrifically long gestation period of Albuquerque Rapid Transit, be nearing an end?

If I read emojis right, admittedly not one of my skills, it seems an announcement concerning an electrified trolley is being made this morning at 11:15. Guess the not-electric bus emoji could not be found.

BB will be following the Facebook Live announcement (of whatever it is) because I have Fridays off and I am old enough to use Facebook. My plan after that is to immediately ride an A.R.T. bus, but there might be a wait involved.

It just might not be a 3/4/5 year wait this time.
