Strong candidate for Best Movie Title Ever, this perfectly Pre-Code (i.e., racy for its era) Paramount movie showed evenings at Joe Barnett’s Sunshine Theater downtown for a Great Depression 50 cents, 35 if you sat in the balcony (which never made sense to me, as it’s always better from the balcony). Barnett had ABQ’s Paramount contract, among others, a local arrangement that ended everywhere in the famous case of U.S. v. Paramount in 1948.
