Anton Walbrook Explains What You/We Must Do

Concerning what’s at stake and steps moving forward against domestic fascism, I’m leaving it to folks far better at such things than me this morning. Here’s Anton Walbrook’s character speaking words written by Emeric Pressburger & Michael Powell in The Archers’ “The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp.”

Walbrook’s Theo Kretschmar-Schuldorff is replying to Roger Livesey’s Major-General Clive Wynne-Candy’s (such great names and such a great film) contention that England must not fight as dirty as the Nazis. Theo corrects this mistake in a way only Pressburger, Powell, and Walbrook can and we must keep in mind.

I certainly can’t sum it up any better.

Have the best weekend possible given the circumstances, everybody.
