Where’s the Burque “Stand Up for Science 2025”?

As we all start to realize that it’s worst than we ever thought, along with understanding that finding out what is going on through historical means is rapidly becoming useless, I’m just throwing this question out here. Where’s the Burque “Stand Up for Science” rally and how can I help?

Any info, vetting of this rally, etc. most appreciated. Info is limited presently, at least that I can find as an aged “I have a blog” internet anachronist.

Update: I also see the information below at the BernCo Democratic Party website…and nowhere else (at least not until I hit “update” on this blogpost. Again, any further info most appreciated.

  1. I live in Albuquerque and I work in science full-time. I filled out a contact form for a standup for science event which they wanted to happen at state capitals. At the end after giving all my information they asked will you be willing to be THE organizer? They will only interact with and contact THE organizer. Then they’ll pass on all the information of additional volunteers to that person. I’ve heard nothing -very disappointed.

  2. I just now heard about this after reading an oped in the 4-18-25 Albq Journal by the “lead organizer”. Why was there no notice about this? I don’t imagine there was much of a crowd. I would’ve been there had I known.
