Just in case: A) You have a hankering to see historical maps for Albuquerque going back to 1990, 1978, 1960, 1954, 1938 and even back to the 19th Century; B) You’ve had trouble finding a one-stop shop for such maps…

Here is that one-stop shop.

Below is an excerpt from the 1960 map, showing how far I-25 construction had gotten (the dashed lines mean it’s built, but not yet open) and the Drive-In movie house on Broadway. Note also how remote and isolated Lowell School is there on the “East Mesa.”

Endless fun if you’re as map-crazy as I am.
