Just wondering.

Why does Montoya Rd. N.W. end at these two unnecessary fences inches away from the I-40 multi-use path, when it could be a north/south connection from the “bike boulevard” that is Mountain Road to the path without riders having to go all the way to Gabaldon Drive?

I’m also wondering if there’s an imaginative guerrilla method to get through/around these fences I don’t know about. Sure don’t seem to see any decent sized holes in these fences in the abrupt End-o-Streetview below.
