For decades, it has been proposed to extend Sunport Blvd. from its current western terminus at I-25. And for decades, it’s been fought. Next Thursday, July 19th, a public meeting will be held on such an extension at the Mountain View Community Center:

Next Thursday’s public meeting should be interesting and more than a wee bit contentious. Full disclosure: Scot here at Better Burque is in favor of the extension. I’ll spare you the reasons (hint: cycling). That said, there should fortunately be a wide range of public comment at next Thursday’s meeting, and your voice, regardless of position, can only help that process.
